We need some new roads, but we cannot build our way out of bad traffic with only roads. We need more transit options. I ride a bike, drive an efficient biodiesel powered vehicle and support clean cars & fuels. To improve safety, we must better protect pedestrians and cyclists. I will work with ADoT, the feds and railroad to pursue Tucson-Phoenix commuter rail. I also back a metro-Tucson commuter rail system, from northwest-downtown-southeast, and also south to Green Valley and Nogales.
